Massage: The Gift of Human Touch

I offer an hour and a half massage - as I think our bodies and minds need that time to release, quiet down and take in.  I have a fluid, flowing and connective touch that makes my clients feel at ease and restored.  I have been practicing massage for over twenty years now and have developed my own style to help my clients feel alive, safe and well.  My goal is to be attuned to my clients needs; providing a safe, calming and restorative space for them to feel nourished.

Feldenkrais practice: Awareness through movement

Feldenkrais (the name of its founder) is an approach that ushers us toward our inherent capacity to know, to learn and to improve our comfort in being and moving in the world.

¨What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains.¨ Moshe Feldenkrais

Curiosity and attention are the key ingredients of this method. Movement is the lens through which we come to known how we function in all aspects of our lives. The quality of attention we bring into the process gives our nervous system the opportunity to differentiate between our habitual ways of moving and novel ones. This can transform and enhance our overall experience of living. We can learn to move beyond perceived limitations and into renewed potential at any time in our life.

¨Movement is life. Life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself.¨ Moshe Feldenkrais
